How BERHUB works

For customers

Get your BER cert in 5 steps

  1. 1

    Request a quote

Choose property type (Residential or Commercial) and tell us about your property. It's free, takes 60 seconds, and we create your account automatically.

  2. 2

    Receive bids

SEAI registered assessors in your county and category send bids through the platform. Compare the quotes and choose the one that suits you best.

  3. 3

    Pay 10% deposit

Book the selected assessor by paying a 10% deposit of the quoted price. Once the deposit is paid, the assessor's details are shared with you and your details are forwarded to the assessor. The assessor usually contacts you within 24 hours.

  4. 4

    Schedule survey

Confirm the survey date and time with your assessor. Ask in advance what documents or details you need to provide for the BER. Agree on how the remaining balance will be paid. After the survey, check when you can expect to receive your BER certificate and report.

  5. 5

    Get your documents

The assessor will issue your BER certificate and advisory report within the agreed timeline, directly to you. Once you've received everything, leave feedback about the assessor — and that's it.
